DIG vs CLG
Game 1 - CLG
CLG looking like they have their groove back, as Doublelift and Co have tremendous objective control and teamfight muscle. MVP - CLG Doublelift - 10-0-4 Lucian
Game 2 - DIG
DIG takes an early lead, going up 4-0 at one point, but CLG stays with it and ties it up, even taking a 4k gold lead at 35 mins. CLG gets destroyed at a baron fight and cant recover past that, losing another fight before DIG takes the game. MVP - DIG Shiphtur - 6-0-3 Syndra
Game 3 - DIG
CLG start the game off very strong, taking a strong lead until 32 mins in, where Crumbzz has one of the sexiest Lee Sin ults I have ever seen. Immediately, DIG turns this game around, winning off of one teamfight win. CLG definitely on tilt after this game. MVP - DIG Shiphtur - 4-0-5 Ziggs (CRAZY good satchel charges putting CLG carries in awful positions all game)
Game 4 - DIG
Clg looks like they have completely lost their will. Terrible calls and trades all game leads CLG to trading an inhibitor (opening the door for a free DIG push to win) and Link losing to Zion in a 1v1 (Yasuo vs Mundo) for just an inhibitor turret. MVP - ZionSpartan - 5-0-3 Mundo
TSM vs LMQ
Game 1 - LMQ
LMQ showing their mechanics as all of their lanes come out to an early lead. They get dragon and a 22 min BARON. TSM huddles in their base and waits for the right fight. (24:00) LMQ pushes in for the middle turret and NoName gets a sick Lee initiation on Turtle that takes him out. Bjerg grabs vasilii and LMQ crumbles after that. (28:00) TSM get another good fight mid after a nice bait from Bjergsen. (29:30) TSM try to take baron but Vasilii and NoName show up, get 2 and steal baron. (37:00) TSM gets another great fight but then Vasilii solos out Turtle and Lustboy. Once LMQ puts down pressure, they are able to take the nexus.
Game 2 - TSM
TSM learns from their mistakes and pick it up in the early game. They get 2 drags and keep the map pressured to secure the objectives. (22:40) TSM plays a mid push perfectly to get a catch first on Mor then on NoName. This leads to a nice play at Baron which they get and they kill 2 more LMQ members. The end of the game was an extended skirmish/teamfight where dyrus gets caught in the bottom lane by NoName and Xiao, but the rest of TSM is pushing top. They back off a bit but get a great catch on LMQ 4v5 and kill 3 to take the top inhib. Dyrus rejoins the team and they catch XiaoWeiXiao and win the game off that.
MVP: TSM Bjergsen 5-0-8 Orianna
Showing off the power of the Orianna shockwave and he made sure TSM took game 2.
Game 3 - LMQ
Pick/Ban: LMQ picks the exact lineup that they just lost to: Ryze, Lee, Ori, Trist, Nami.
Bjergsen picks up 2 early kills on NoName and Xiao. Xerath doe. More of just farming and trading. Ackerman twice flash/rune prison on Bjergsen to shut him down. Making it hard for TSM. Off the second one LMQ gets baron. “The minions are going to overrun TSM’s base. Bjergsen trying to put the poke down on champions but he can’t do everything for TSM.” - Jatt telling us the story of this game.
MVP: LMQ Vasilii 6-1-8 Tristana
Game 4 - TSM
Pick/Ban: Bjergsen gets Syndra for the first time in the series.
TSM way ahead, looks like this one could be over. TSM does some nice rotations and end up pushing mid for what looks like the end. (29:00) XiaoWeiWiao goes hard after the TSM engage and picks up a Pentakill. (32:40) LMQ got baron and go mid, but Bjergsen doesn’t like that and picks up a triple while TSM goes 4-1. In the last fight of the game, the nami ult is used to engage and Lustboy stops it with braum shield. This opens the door for Bjergsen who unloads on XiaoWeiXiao, and turtle who gets to jumpin’ on trist. They win it and we go to a tiebreaker game 5.
Game 5 - TSM
(12:00) TSM goes completely insane and wins the game. Ok not really.. but they take a huge lead. Dyrus TP to help amazing. Amazing goes down but Dyrone and Bjerg get 2 for it. Meanwhile bot lane, Turtle and Lustboy get in a fight with LMQ bot lane, they take out Vasilii and Mor is trying to kill turtle on Braum. He throws out a Q and Lustboy with the best flash I have ever seen, blocks it and turtle survives! (14:00) Dyrus goes ham and destroys Ackerman and NoName with Bjergsen’s help. Then they take the inner mid turret. (23:40) TSM just takes baron, cause you know, they can… Then they win. Such a decisive game from TSM.
MVP: TSM Dyrus 3-1-10 Mundo
CRS VS LMQ
Game 1 - CRS
CRS plays for the long game with a corki/yasuo/mundo team comp. They hold about even until the 30 min mark, at which point curse slowly starts to pull ahead. Cop carries hard this game, ending it with a score of 14-0. Voy and Cop managed to single handedly win multiple team fights, and secure the win for crs.
Game 2 - CRS
This game ended up being very similar to the first, except LMQ was never able to get its shit together. CRS repeatedly crushes LMQ in team fights, quickly finishing it out at 26 mins. Cop carries again, going 6-1 on corki, and quas becomes an unstoppable bear as mundo in the top lane (5-1).
Game 3 - LMQ
LMQ finally manages to get its shit together, with crs holding even for a long time. Eventually crs starts making mistakes in team fights, and cracking under the pressure of a fed khazix. One major ace late game wins it for LMQ, bringing the series to 2-1
Game 4 - LMQ
LMQ has massively improved their mood after the previous win, and it shows in their play. That morale boost made them play significantly better, and because of this, they dogpile on curse, ending the game around 25 mins in.
Game 5 - LMQ
Curse has had their moral crushed by this point. Two nasty games puts them on a really hard tilt, and it can be seen in the facecams. Mistakes start to pile up, and LMQ just annhiliates them in a short order, winning the series at 3-2.
C9 vs CRS
Game 1 - C9
We see the old Cloud 9 coming back. At 16 mins they have a 7k gold lead, 7-0 in kills and have 2 of 2 dragons. Cloud 9 is unrelenting and push the advantage to bring the game to 13-1 with a 13.5k gold lead at 22 min, which leads to a CRS surrender vote to end the game.
MVP: C9 Hai 5-0-5 Zed
Game 2 - C9
Pick/Ban: Hai on Zed again, Voyboy grabs akali in answer.
C9 out to another early lead. The first dragon fight was exciting. (19:15) Hai goes down immediately to Voy. Then Sneaky and Meteos on Trist and Kha play a game of frogger and hop all over CRS with the resets. (24:00) C9 goes all in for the bottom inhib and they get it, CRS gets 3 kills out of it though and they push it back to get the bottom outer. But C9 doing what they do, go get baron and almost ace CRS then win the game.
Game 3 - C9
Pick/Ban: CRS finally bans zed. Yasuo goes to Hai and Voy picks up Syndra. Will it help?
Lemonnation with the first blood level 3 under turret with the headbutt from Alistar. “Mooove over” - Phreak. (7:00) Voyboy gets ganked again and this time he destroys Lemon with a great outplay. C9 continues to dominate this game and series. Voyboy trying but cannot get ahead on Syndra. Sneaky really big on Kog, this could be the trist counter we were looking for. (22:25) CRS tries a desperation baron, with no other hope of victory. C9 show up with 4 members and win a 4v5 and get baron. They shove top lane, Hai is a beast on yasuo and they get the inhib. C9 take out everything in CRS’s base before destroying the nexus at 29 mins. Balls steals the penta from Sneaky at the very end of the game.
C9 vs TSM
Game 1 - C9
Pick/Ban: Hai on Zed, TSM didnt pick up the Trist to block Vasilli
Firstblood on Dyrus, surprise surprise. C9 bringing out their new meta of solo adc top lane for early level advantage. Tense early lane phase for sure. The Kha’zix evolution for void spikes first on TSM Amazing. C9 grabs first dragon, nobody dies after a brief teamfight and TSM answers by grabbing middle turret. Dyrus pick up top tower on Lulu with C9 going back to standard lanes. Bjergsen dies to a dive mid bringing the kills to 2/0 C9’s favor at around 15:00. The game is even at this point. Big teamfight breaks out in front of the soon respawning dragon at 16:45 with Dyrus teleporting in behind C9 but ends up with an end result of 6/2 C9. Shortly after we get a pick bottom on Balls with a huge 4-man gank bottom from TSM resulting in a trade of towers with Vasilli splitting top. This game is all about splitting at the right times for C9 with Tristana and Zed being very well itemized at 22:00. Sloppy teamfight at 23:00 with a slight cleanup for TSM putting 3 kills on their Fizz (Bjergsen). Seconds later, C9 shows up at dragon to deny TSM, pushes them off killing 2 TSM members and picking up dragon bringing the game to 10/6 C9’s favor with a 4k gold lead. Lustboy gets caught out in TSM’s jungle but C9 doesnt push due to lack of map vision. C9 pokes out TSM for Baron control, TSM attempts to fight them (31:00) after Baron goes down (whyyyyyyyyy) leading to an ace and a lost inhibitor. 15/6 for C9.C9 pressures bottom, baits a teamfight and, since they starting building tanky, won handily ending the game at 35:00.
MVP: C9 Hai on Zed 6-2-7
Game 2 - TSM
Pick/Ban: ALISTAR BB, TSM thinks Lucian is better than Tristana…?
Alistar and Kha’zix double jungling from TSM leaving Sneaky on Trist to free farm top. 4 man proxy bottom from TSM, early tower push and Dyrus leaves teleporting top to be instantly dove by 3 members of C9, fb on Dyrus. Classic. TSM answers with a dragon on bottom. TSM lane swaps, gets a free kill on nami top, top tower, and Bjergsen trades a kill for a death when ganked middle. TSM pulling out a lot of parlor tricks trying to get an early game edge. Bjergsen keeps getting picked on but TSM piles middle to grab their third tower. TSM picks up a second dragon, a couple kills in the jungle. TSM has complete map dominance with continual rotations and objective control. Bjergsen gets caught out mid, gives C9 a tower and a dragon. Big teamfights follow with C9 clawing their way to a kill lead 5/9 C9 favor. TSM makes some great catches in C9’s jungle at 25:00 leading to an all out teamfight TSM walks away from the battle with some more kills under their belt and grabs a dragon. C9 tries to answer with a baron bait but TSM turns it around for a couple kills and a tower bottom. C9 is getting sloppy…? TSM baits out some more kills in Baron pit, C9 pushes the base. HOLY SHIT THIS GAME WHAT!? WATCH AT 28:00 LAAAWWDDDD. These teamfights in the jungle are insane at 31:00. C9 really suffering from their lack of vision.TSM decides to turn on the pressure and pushes mid, pokes C9 out under their tower, and TSM just rolls straight through the front door to take the game.
MVP: TSM Dyrus on Alistar 2-3-13
Game 3 - C9
Pick/Ban: TSM grabs up Tristana, Hai got his Zed
Dyrus actually puts down a ward. #silverstrats Fb on Dyrus regardless with a three man dive. TSM answers with Dragon.Fancy footwork across the map but TSM pulls off a mid tower at 11:00 when Hai leaves for bottom. Slower game than the previous two, dragon pickup from C9. Both teams seem scared to fight. Both team comps allow them to constantly disengage so fights just aren’t happening. We’re neck and neck at 23:00. Pick on Meteos of all people in river at 25:00. This extended farming time is doing wonders for Sneaky on Kog’maw. At 28:15 Dyrus pops Zhonyas for no reason, gets caught and C9 picks up a dragon and goes for Baron, Amazing dies in the process, big gold swing to C9. C9 continues to rotate around the map taking turrets, two inhibs, and a dragon. A teamfight at 35:30 actually goes in TSM’s favor slightly with an amazing shockwave from Bjergsen. C9 catches TSM out in their jungle, spreads them out, and takes them out one by one. An ace leads to a final push from C9 to take game 3 at 39:00 minutes.
MVP: C9 Sneaky on Kog’maw 1-0-2 → So much damage in those fights/picks
Game 4 - TSM
Picl/Ban: Ryze, Xerath, and Lee Sin for TSM. Nice.
Firstblood on Hai going to Amazing.Meteos counter jungles TSMs Blue. Tsm shows up at C9’s blue and make a winning teamfight knocking Hai out again getting a kill for Bjergsen on Xerath. TSM grabs the first dragon as C9 tries to tower dive Dyrus top again who just teleports away (style points). Bjergsens got some serious Xerath mechanics. Dyrus is bobbing and weaving top lane all day. TSM still has dragon control at 15:00 and C9 grabs a top turret in response. Whoop de doo. 21:00 C9 trades Hai for a dragon, good investment. TSM makes a good catch in C9’s jungle, gets a 2-1 trade. TSM trying to capitalize on their 4k gold lead. Dragon fight! C9 pops in, steals Dragon, but TSM eats them alive and just rolls up for a free Baron in response. Sneaky gets caught out at 31:30, TSM pushes straight up the middle grabbing their first inhibitor. HUGE catch in C9 jungle as they go to ward Baron, Turtle gets a Quadra and TSM finishes the game taking it to a 5 game series.
MVP: Wildturtle on Tristana 5-1-7 → Making them plays bb.
Game 5 - TSM
Pick/Ban: Sneaky snagged up Corki. Yooooooooooo
ADC solo top start for C9 again, sneaky getting pretty poked down by Dyrus though. First dragon goes to TSM. Having a solo adc top seems to consistently give up dragons for C9. Passive turret trading and defensive warding all the way through lane phase. First blood on Balls giving a nice chunk of gold to Amazing on Elise in the jungle. Meteos steals a dragon right underneath TSM’s nose at 15:15. Sneaky gets a kill on Dyrus top as the game seems to be evening out after a TSM lead in the early game. Sneaky gets caught mid and Hai gets manhandled by all 5 members of TSM at 19:00. Mini base race at 22:00, both teams lose an inhib but C9 picks up extra kills making it a 5/5 game. 27:00 C9 pushes TSM into their own base giving up an inhib but picking up 4 kills leading to a Baron. TSM respawns just in time to contest and get dragon in response. Intense mid game with both teams fighting for inches. An excellent bait into a jungle fight seals the deal with Wildturtle picking up a quadra kill for a TSM win!
MVP: Wildturtle on Tristana 5-2-2
